As a Simpsons bon fide lover I got drunk last night on like 4 drinks and today I have the equivalent hangover of what I would have had five years ago on fifteen drinks.I volunteered for the Cork Midsummer Festival and last night stewarded at Wired and Free, an outdoor air theatre spectacle using cranes. This was my second night helping at the same show and a Saturday night so I was antsy to return to the pub as fast as my wellies would let me.
It was interesting walking through Cork city on my own in Glastonbury/Hillwalker gear on a Saturday night. I got to be the observer. I knew men wouldn't bother a girl in wellies. So I watched them, so loud..everybody loses volume control when they drink and the girls in hot pants and all the other kind citizens. When I got to the pub I had some nice pints and merry was made. After said drinks I went to the loo in the kebab shop and thought better of eating a kebab when I used the loo but my lovely man had already got me one. I was not sure about it but when I got a whiff, how could a drink fuelled girl say no? I gave half of it to a friend who gobbled it down like a rhino on a barren plain.
That's what bullies get for saying I don't like the Simpsons. It's blogged!

lol drunk food always ALWAYS tastes better . Plus it is the same as eating when you are standing up...not fat ...nothing but fresh air.

I may have asked you this before but do you know Simple Kid. YOU might like him if you have even the slightest of alt. country leanings haha.Oh and kudos on the red wine. I once downed a bottle of jack daniels while watching the rose of tralee. twas a cracking night.
